| Broadway Theatre hosts live shows
PITMAN The Broadway Theatre of Pitman will present Disney's award-winning musical "Beauty and the Beast" from July 13 through August 4 as part of its post-renovation inaugural live show season. Performances will be held on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and on Sundays at 2:00 p.m. The final live shows of 2007 are "Lend Me a Tenor and Oliver!" to be held in September and October. The 2008 season will feature "Hello Dolly!," "Laughter on the 23rd Floor," "Forever Plaid," "Damn Yankees," "The Mousetrap" and "The Music Man." Tickets to single theatrical productions can be purchased for $25 per person. A 2008 Season Subscription includes all six shows for $75. Ross Ragland celebrates performance season with launch celebration
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The public is invited to The Ross Ragland Theater and Cultural Center at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 27 for a celebration under the neon tower as the 2007-2008 performance season, a recent press release stated.The festivities will begin with a casual dinner and street party in front of the theater on Seventh Street between Pine and High Streets. The theater will thank its patrons and the whole community while announcing its upcoming season, which begins on September 22.Also planned is the presentation of “24 Neon Nights," a video unveiling the 2007-2008 performance season. Immediately following the video, a drawing for a pair of season tickets will be held. A dessert will be served in the lobby and party guests will have the first chance to buy season tickets. Individual tickets will go on sale Aug.
Hundreds of Dancers to Be Part of Dancing at the Crossroads ...
The day-long event, entitled Dancing at the Crossroads, will celebrate the arrival of summer and will feature hundreds of professional dancers. Over 30 dance companies including 200 dancers will offer classic and contemporary ballet, hip hop, jazz, modern and tap. Crossroads will be emceed by a host of Broadway and dance stars, including Kate Shindle, Stephanie J. Block, Orion Duckstein, Rob Kleinendorst, Denis Jones, Judine Somerville and Karine Plantadit. Among the dance companies and Broadway shows scheduled to participate are Amy Hall, Angel Feliciano Movement Theatre, Art of Dance, Aszure Barton, AxisDanz, Ayodele Casele, Battleworks Dance Company, Chase Brock Experience, CorbinDances, C.Eule Dance, Dance China NY, Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company, Dance Times Square, Elisa Monte Dance, Francesca Harper Project, Hartford City Ballet, Jennifer Muller/The Works, Keigwin + Company, Limn Dance Company, Miss Dance of the United States, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Performing Arts Center of Connecticut, Rhapsody-The Group, Ron Todorowski, Sara Joel, Thomas/Ortiz Dance, Timothy Bish, The United States Dance Team and Wes Veldink Movement as well as the casts of The Lion King and The Pirate Queen.
